Our live-edge slabs are primarily salvaged from Toronto, cut by hand and air-dried. We currently offer slabs in various sizes and species including Maple, Elm, and White Oak. We can also source additional species upon request.

Note: Our slabs are 3″ thick. Thicker material must be air-dried, which is an imperfect method of stabilizing wood. This means that once cut, the slab will continue to ‘move’ slightly. Please talk to our knowledgeable staff so we can advise you on ways to anticipate and control the behaviour of this live material. If planned for, the stabilization process will only add to the beauty of the piece over time.
